We are so excited to welcome you to Guatemala and celebrate this weekend together. First things first, please check your passport! Make sure it will be valid well beyond the wedding dates. Antigua is about an hour from Guatemala City’s La Aurora International Airport, and we ask that all guests stay in Antigua so the weekend feels easy and seamless. Please see below for accommodation and travel details to help make planning your stay a little easier.
Thank you for making the journey to celebrate with us!
Getting there
Travel Requirements
Before you travel, please take a moment to check your passport expiration date. To avoid any issues, we recommend having at least six months of validity beyond your travel dates. U.S., Canadian, U.K., and Trinidad & Tobago passport holders are currently visa-exempt for short visits to Guatemala. Guyanese passport holders generally require a consular visa, although travelers with a valid U.S., Canadian, Mexican, or Schengen visa may qualify for an exemption. Entry requirements can change, so please confirm the latest rules for your passport before traveling. All travelers should also complete Guatemala’s electronic immigration/customs declaration before arrival and again before departure and keep the QR code handy on your phone.

Arrival in Guatemala
Please fly into La Aurora International Airport (GUA) in Guatemala City. Antigua is typically about 1 to 1½ hours from the airport. If possible, we recommend arriving on Thursday so you have time to settle in before the festivities begin on Friday.
